SPERI supported the First National Day for Prevention and Mitigation of Hydrogeological Risk, jointly promoted by the National Councils of Engineers and Geologists. The increasingly extreme and frequent events pose new challenges to Institutions, researchers, and technical professionals in defining strategies for prevention and mitigation of risk. The Day proposed to the involved Actors a modern perspective, addressing the issue of hydrogeological instability from different points of view of politics, institutions, and professions but always privileging the value of planning and control actions and focusing on the importance of systematizing the contributions of All for the identification of concrete solutions. A fundamental legacy to leave to future generations.
